Chiang Lab

John Oh is a research lab technician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He graduated from Boston University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In the lab, John works with zebrafish models to investigate cardiac arrhythmias, with responsibilities including voltage mapping, cardiac output measurements, confocal microscopy, immunocytochemistry, and genotyping. His research has contributed to published work in the field. Outside of the lab, John volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts since 2020, meeting regularly with a little to support his social and personal growth.
